Hi I’m Beckie, Currently a one woman band.
The Sugar Dance Gang started up as a hobby in 2018, with an obsession for candles and everything marbled! At the time I’d been searching for marbled pillar candles in which at the time there was lack of on the market. This started my creative journey into the world of marbled hydro-dipping.
Hydro-dipping is an artistic technique used with water and marbling inks creating a marbling film layer.
From this, My love for tv and film characters also inspired our many marbled colour-ways which developed into our extended range of hand-dipped marbled homewares including seasonal updates and colour combos change-ups.

Our lead times often vary however we currently have a 5-8 working day processing time as all our products are made to order.
We use Royal Mail, 2nd class service. (2-3 working days)
During the Christmas period our processing times may be a little slower but we aim to still work within the 5-8 working day timeline. You will receive an email once your order has been dispatched. However we cannot guarantee Royal Mail will not have delayed services during the festive period.
-We will take our last orders 8th December to ensure we have enough time to hand make products.
-The Christmas postal deadline will be 15th December to ensure your products will hopefully make it to you in time for Christmas.
For safety purposes our pillar candles are wicked with cable shrink artificial wicks therefore are unable to burn. We also surveyed our customers of which 90% said they would only use for decorative purposes.
Pillar candles- although ornamental and unable to burn, the pillar ornaments are still made from paraffin wax. These are unscented.
Scented jar candles – Are made up of a rapeseed and coconut natural wax blend, infused with high quality fragrance oils. Completely free from paraffin, soy, palm, and beeswax. There are able to burn!
